Release Notes:
Here’s the UK version with a bonus track ;-)
Acquiring their name from the famous children’s author, SILVERSTEIN was formed in early 2000 in an attempt to tear down the boundaries between hardcore, emo and punk. With a multitude of influences ranging from the GET UP KIDS to GRADE,MINERAL to CAVE-IN and PEDRO THE LION to SLAYER,SILVERSTEIN is a true mix of multiple musical styles. Unlike much of the stagnant post-hardcore scene today, SILVERSTEIN finds a way to keep the music unique and interesting but always catchy and memorable. Discovering the Waterfront is the follow up to the highly successful “When Broken is Easily Fixed” and continues to prove this bands songwritting prowess and ability to stand out from the “emo” crowd, choosing to focus on songwritting as opposed to fitting the mould.
With a sold out Australian tour already under their collective belts expect this to be the album to push Silverstein into the higher echelons of the alternitive music genre.
